I am happy to welcome you to my Kindergarten class. I have been teaching in Edgewood ISD for 10 years. I have taught pre-k, 1st, 3rd, and this is my 4th year teaching Kindergarten. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University and Master of Arts in Human Sciences with concentrations in Education and Counseling also from Our Lady of the Lake University. I have 4 children, 6 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 guinea pigs. When I am not at school, I love going for walks, listening to music, and spending time with my family, especially at the coast.
In our class I hope to instill in my scholars a love for life-long learning that was instilled in me when I was a young girl. Not only will we focus on the academic skills that will help scholars learn to read and write, but we will also focus on a their social-emotional skills as well.
